A uno straniero di passaggio, che non parli la nostra lingua, può essere gradita la nostra assistenza in tutte le circostanze che, per quanto banali, potrebbero metterlo in difficoltà (dalla prenotazione di una camera o del viaggio di ritorno alla visita della no-sta città).

È già stato a Padova? Conosce la città?
Have you been to Padua before? Do you know the town?

Se ha tempo, dovrebbe andare a vedere il duomo.
If you have time, you should go and see the cathedral.

Se non l'ha ancora visto, potrebbe visitare il museo.
If you haven't seen it yet, you could visit the museum.
