During our meeting, my colleague seemed to be on edge and ready to argue about a particular issue. While I understand her perspective, I knew that engaging in an argument would not be productive for either of us. As the saying goes, 'it takes two to tango,' and I didn't want to escalate the situation. Instead, I calmly explained my position and listened to her concerns. Although she may have wanted to argue, I chose not to stoop to her level and maintained a professional demeanor throughout our conversation. By doing so, we were able to reach a mutually agreeable solution and move forward with our work.
