C'era una volta nella vivace città, Jack e Lily erano due migliori amici che condividevano tutto. Una sera, fecero dei piani per incontrarsi al loro caffè preferito dopo il lavoro. Tuttavia, il destino aveva altri piani. Mentre l'orologio segnava le sei, Jack ricevette una chiamata urgente dal suo capo. "Ti dispiace se rimando quella bevuta? 

Devo lavorare fino a tardi stasera," disse Jack con un pizzico di delusione nella voce. Lily capì la sua situazione e acconsentì, assicurandogli che il lavoro veniva sempre prima. Jack si dedicò anima e corpo all'ufficio, mentre Lily decise di fargli una visita a sorpresa. 

Sapeva quanto sarebbe stato stressato, quindi portò il suo caffè preferito e una nota sincera. Mentre Jack lavorava instancabilmente, sentì una leggera pacca sulla spalla e si girò per vedere Lily lì, che gli porgeva il caffè.

His face lit up with a mix of surprise and joy. They spent the night chatting, sharing stories, and laughing amidst the stacks of paperwork. Time flew by, and they realized it was morning. The sky began to illuminate with shades of pink as the sun rose. 

With a grateful smile, Jack thanked Lily for being his ray of sunshine amidst the darkness of work. They bid farewell and promised to make up for their missed drink soon. From that day forward, Jack and Lily knew that true friendship surpassed any rain check.
