Mentre stavo parlando con il mio amico della mia ultima impresa commerciale, mi ha interrotto dicendo: "Sai, a volte penso che tu abbia la testa tra le nuvole."Sono rimasto un po' sorpreso dal suo commento. Voleva suggerire che i miei piani erano irrealistici?

Ha continuato spiegando che ammirava la mia creatività e ambizione, ma che avevo bisogno di restare con i piedi per terra se volevo avere successo. "È importante avere grandi sogni", ha detto, "ma devi anche prendere misure pratiche per realizzarli".

Mentre riflettevo sulle sue parole, ho capito che aveva ragione. Ero così concentrato sulla mia visione del futuro che non prestavo abbastanza attenzione al momento presente. Avevo trascurato le pratiche per gestire un'impresa, come la gestione delle finanze e la costruzione di una base clienti.
